EEEK.... This house sticks today!
LOL!!Wanda's cooking up something and she has this house stinking. lol
Yep! That time again folks. We brought the new year in with some friends last night. And now it's time for that southern traditional new years dinner tonight. Wonder how many people around the world really do this each year?? Makes me wonder as I have met lots of people outside the USA by blogging.
Anyway, that smell is Wanda cooking some collard greens for tonight. Just got to have those with some cornbread, black eyed peas, side meat or fatback, some people have different names for those. Sure I'm forgetting to mention one or two of the foods we normally have. And to be honest here, I'm not to crazy about eating collard greens. But I can handle a little bit once a year and after all, it's all suppose to bring you good luck for the the up coming year. Guess we'll see. lol

LOL. Loved the post. Be glad it was not cabbage. That smells worse than collard greens, but it's supposed to bring more money in the new year. I didn't get any made, so I guess I will just continue to be poor for 2009.
