Soon No More Tweet-Tweet from Rockin' Robin

50 year old Michael Jackson says it's the end of the road in London. He's returning for 10 shows beginning July 8th. Hard to believe he's that old and retiring, but I saw him years ago when he was a kid singing in the group Jackson5. But dang, I was a kid myself at that time. I remember always switching my favorite groups back and forth between bands like the Jackson5, The Osmonds, Abba, Air Supply, etc... Yeah that was before I woke up and started listening to real rock-n-roll music. ;-)
Guess all has to come to an end some day and the world keeps spinning for the next generation. :-)

I just saw this on TV. What a total freak! He should shut up, lay low and fade into obscurity. It amazes me that there are still people who'd want to see him perform, and are still fans.

i hear you Chilly. I went last year with my 39 year old daughter to see The Stones in concert and I must say age or no...they still put on a hack of a good show.

But, yes...it's so hard to believe that so many of the good ones from our years are retiring or have died.

I used to love the magic that he showed. Now I feel he is a has been pedophile and just needs to go away.

Chilly, our generation's music will never be gone, they will be playing it for generations to come.
As for Michael Jackson, unfortunately his odd and maybe even criminal behavior has clouded his unbelievable talent.
Good bye Michael Jackson and thank you for your music and videos.

Hi everyone! Pleasure to see you drop in! :-)

@ Shinade, No way you didn't! LOL To cool! I would love to see them again!

@ MamaFlo, I agree, The music we grew up with will never die. I still at 50, listen to the same music I did in my teens and love it just as much as I did back then.

Yeah, I do agree with what all have said. To many dark clouds hang over his head today and it hurts him no matter how good he is or was as a performer. Ever IF he was found innocent of all, there's still that big question stands over him.

@ MyJoyz, Hi and Thanks for the kind words. I will have a visit, plus I'll be happy to add you to my blogroll. Thanks! :-)

When I was a toddler, I had one of those old Osmond albums. "One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch, girl!"

Thank goodness for technology that preserves the old MJ's music. Yup, he's a pervert and a sicko, but he seems to have 9 lives. I'm with the rest of you...he needs to just go away and fade into obscurity.
