Back from the real world again.

Yesterday we were up a 4:00am and right back to the polls again for a runoff Election. But this time it was for the Senate position and Judge.

This is as close as I was allowed. Big mean men in dark glasses might come after me. ;) These pics were taken while nobody was around. HaHaaHa!

This is Jean. She was one of the express poll workers.

And this is Wanda. Some know her as the author of 1 Blog and 2 Sides. She is the Poll Manager and also works along side of Jean as one of the express poll workers.

This is Josephine. She checked people in and got each persons ID's and paper work done before they reached the express polls.

And this is me. :P My surprise to find it on my camera later. Wanda had Jean to grab this shot when I wasn't paying attention. You know what they say about pay backs, right. LOL! At least it came out blurry. ;)
Well, I had it pretty eazy. I was the last for people to see as I took up the electronic voter cards and gave them a "I'm A Georgia Voter" peach sticker to wear if they wanted for the day.
You might notice a lot of books around us. That's because we were in the Library of a local elementary school. We thought it would be a long slow day with not much happening being only a runoff, but we ended up with 532 people showing up to vote. Almost as many as the Presidenial Election with 764 people showing up.

Short post tonight, long day tomorrow!

Fixing to go to bed because Wanda and I have to get up around 4:00am to be at the polls by 5:30am to get voting polls open at 7:00am. OMG! That tells me just how old I'm getting. LOL! I remember back when I could stay up all night and then work all the next day, then go out that night to. Now when did them days go??? ;)

All day without getting online is going to hurt too. How on earth will I make it though the day?? ;)  O' boy I need a life. LOL! Anyway, It will be a long day working at the Election Polls tomorrow so I'm more than likely not going to get in any drops because I'll be ready to drop by the time we get home.

Hey Lady, smile for the camera.

This my friends is my wife, Wanda. And she's the author of 1 Bog and 2 Sides....

That is her picture that made the local newspaper here. She's been working each day at the advanced voting polls, then we both will be working on Tuesday during the elections. Wanda is also the manager of our local polling location. A job I sure wouldn't want. ;)

13,828 of 33,885 registered voters in Barrow County have already cast their ballots.
